i know cod are not very fierce but a 22lb anything is a beast to haul in

That's a decent cod from the Bristol Channel! I had a couple just after Christmas but they were only 3-4lb.

Anyone had any more? We went for a scout around our 'early' spots this afternoon and it was dry as a bone, no signs of fungi life at all. |

Well, they're here on the Gower. Some massive specimens as well - three bruisers went over 14 inches
